Over the years I have seen many trends in home decor. Whether it be country or contemporary I have seen it all. There are a few new trends that are hot right now and Eclectic is one of them.
Eclectic decor draws it's attention from contrast. It's about mixing different design periods, color schemes and textures. It's about breaking all of the rules of conventional home decorating.
The great thing about Eclectic decor is that is fun, personal and for the most part inexpensive. It can be a little on the tricky side if you aren't careful you will end up with a room full glorified hodgepodge. Be sure to not to over do it!
