First Impressions
When I meet with sellers to discuss listing their home I always tell them that they only get one chance at making a good first impression . This home is a perfect example of the importance of getting it right the first time.
The home was originally on the market with agent #1 for 112 days. Although it was clean it was a completely vacant home as you can seen in the first photo. In photo #2 you will see that it has been staged with agent #2 at the same price and it's been on the market for 25 days. Personally I think that had it been staged the first time around it more than likely would be sold by now.
Savvy buyers that surf the net daily and have seen this home on the market for so long will not be impressed with the fact that the home is now staged especially given the fact that it is listed at the same price as it was originally. The only thing that might make buyers take a second look is a substantial reduction in price. The sellers might have been better off to simply have reduced the price for a quick sale rather than taken it off the market and re-listed with another agent and have it staged all to put it back on the market at the same price!
