Think you are saving money when you list with a fast talking discount agent that claims to have dozens of buyer's lined up to buy your home?   THINK AGAIN!  Typically these agents will quietly market your home keeping your property from the Multiple Listing Service in hopes that they will find a buyer.   They then handle both sides of the sale and in exchange they will discount your commission and tell you that they are saving you thousands of dollars.  They will also tell the buyers that they are getting a great deal on your home because they have discounted the sales commission.  Who's best interest does that agent really have at heart?  His/her own that's who! 

When your home is listed in the Multiple Listing Service it is exposed to literally hundreds of well qualified buyers willing to pay top dollar for your home.  Instead of saving thousands of dollars in commission you will be losing thousands by not exposing your home to the open market.
