Growing up in Glendale
One of the best things about growing up in Glendale was Christmas! As soon as we would see the decorations on Brand Blvd and the Christmas tree on top of the Glen-Fed building, we would freak out from excitement!
Every year my Mom would take my brother and I to Webb's Department store to visit Santa. After we had our photo taken we would do a little Christmas shopping, Webb's was my Mom's favorite department store! There were so many wonderful places to shop along Brand, the Heady shop, Armor & Boyd and of course the Toy House! After our shopping we would have lunch at the Hollander Cafeteria, they had the best cheesecake EVER!
At this time of year, I am reminded of just how fortunate I am to be able to live and work in the community in which I grew up! Oh and yes that's me sitting with Santa, telling him that all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
