One of the wonderful things about being a homeowner is celebrating the holidays at home.  Many of my friends are from out of state and they don't have family here so my home has been the gathering place over the years.  I enjoy cooking and entertaining for my friends and family but I have to admit, it's a lot of work!  This year I decided not to put on a big dinner, instead I am heading over to a friends.  I have to admit I will miss having the leftovers but that's probably a good thing   As for my friends and family, well I think they understand that I need a break and they will be here for Christmas which is just around the corner. 

This year I am thankful that I don't have to cook and I am looking forward to coming home to a nice clean house tomorrow night!
