A Walk Down Memory Lane
Today I went on Broker's Caravan with my good friend and fellow Glendale native, Phyllis (Serra) Harb. After taking a look at a lovely home on Cortez that is listed with an associate from our office, we headed over Brand Blvd. to our favorite place for lunch, Far Niente . We reminisced about how Brand Blvd. was back in the day (wow that makes me sound OLD!) and how the Alex Theatre was our favorite place to see a movie.
On our way back we drove past Phyllis' childhood home on Pacific. It was recently sold as an REO and there were contractors there working on the house. We quickly put on the charm and talked them into letting us take a quick peek inside. What a treat it was for Phyllis, there was even a room that still had her Mom's old wall paper!
As we drove off we talked about how much Glendale has changed yet one thing remains the same, Glendale is still a great place to live!
