This is your last weekend to shop before the new sales tax increase!   Many retailers are gearing up for huge sales this weekend.  The temporary 1% tax increase will expire on July 1, 2011, or on July 1, 2012, depending on whether voters approve Prop 1A, in a statewide election May 19, 2009.
