Is it just me, or does a $150 million dollar inauguration seem a little ridiculous during these tough economic times??? President Bush's 2005 inauguration cost $42.3 million, talk about inflation!  Don't get me wrong I understand why this will be the largest inaugural event in American history.  I also understand the need for increased security but the custom Cadillac limo I am not so sure about.  The Presidential Inauguration Committee is estimated to be spending about $45 million on entertainment expenses, including 10 official Inaugural Balls.  A spokeswoman for the committee said that she does not consider these events to be extravagant.  Okay, I know I tend to be a little too frugal at times but $45 million dollars sound a little extravagant to me!!!
