Today my neighbor asked me what the highest sales price was in our neighborhood for 2008.  I invited her in for a cup of coffee and logged on to the Multiple Listing Service.  The winner for the highest sales price in the 91201 zip code goes to 1640 Vista with a sales price of $1,300,000.  My neighbor said "Where the heck is Vista Drive?"  I was surprised when she asked me because she  is a Glendale native just like me.  We leashed up our dogs and went for a stroll.  As soon as we got there it all came back to her, because her son played baseball at Brand Park for years and she used to walk up to the park for all of his games. 



Runner up is 2050 W. Mountain with a sale price of $1,250,000.  We strolled past that one on the way home and talked about how we remember when that was being built.  When we got home we looked up the year which was 1986, seems like yesterday!  



Currently the most expensive home on the market in the 91201 is 1644 Grandview with a whopping list price of $3,420,000.  The original list price was $3,800,000.  It has been on the market for 125 days.  I'll keep you posted on this one
