My first job was at Carl's Jr. on Glenoaks and Grandview.  Several of my friends and I walked down there one day after school.  We all stood in line and applied for a job and we all got hired.  Each of us were there for opening day and it was a blast!  One of our favorite things to eat there was a California Roast Beef sandwich.  Years later they were taken off the menu for some reason.  Today I got a call from one of my high school buddies that worked with me at Carl's Jr. and she told me they brought back our favorite sandwich.  They are on the menu for a limited time only and available only in California so get one while you can.  Oh and here's a tip for you...they are really good with a little barbecue sauce!
