My parents moved to Glendale primarily because of the excellent schools.  My siblings and I attended Keppel, Toll and Hoover.  I actually live right next door to one of my high school teachers Gene Stanton (yes he still drives the Rambler) and until his passing, across the street from Coach Kohlmeier.  Unfortunately some people don't think that  Glendale schools are what they used to be, however this morning I read in the News Press that Glendale outscored California averages on the SAT exam for 2008! NOT BAD!  You can read more by clicking here.
