It took a lot of hard work to get where I am today so before I go on my rant let me just say that I appreciate and respect anyone who works hard.  But I didn't get here by bugging the heck out of people as they are trying to conduct business!!! 

Today I had an open house at 2900 Canada.  I had just enough time to set up when in comes Joe Termite.  Joe Termite is also Joe Locksmith and Joe Realtor, so he says anyway.  Then proceeds to ask me who I use for termite.  He goes into detail about how since he has a license and is a member of the MLS he can go into homes via the lockbox with his keypad and us agents don't have to meet him at the property blah-blah-blah!  At about this time a very nice woman comes into the house with a print out of the property and lots of questions and she seems quite interested in the house.  While I am trying to show her through the house and answer her questions and deal with the flow of other people, Joe Termite decides to chime in and be a part of MY SHOW!

Why am I so upset you might wonder???  Well there has been lots of talk about thefts during open houses and as the daughter of two cops I am immediately suspicious because I don't know Joe Termite from Adam.  The name of his company does not sound familiar and he is from out of the area.  Now I have to keep a watchful eye on this man while I attempt to do my job which is to sell a house!!!  If indeed Joe of three trades is who he says he is then he should have the brains to know not to pester me while I am working.  I always welcome affiliates at my broker's open houses and that is the appropriate time to solicit yourself Mr. Joe Termite-Locksmith-Realtor, get a clue, I have work to do!
