It was a pretty quiet weekend here in the 91201.  Just a few open houses but just the same old same old. I showed a couple of condo's and that was it. 

I had a long time client call me Saturday to ask how much the house at 1422 Elm is listed for.  She fell in love with that house in 2004 and we scrambled to write an offer right away all to find out there were already other offers.  When it was all said and done the owner for what ever reason decided to stay put for another year or so, go figure!  I told her it wasn't meant to be and we moved on.


Anyway back then the house was listed for $649,000 and now it is listed for $660,000 only an $11,000 difference.  She laughed when I told her the price and went on to say that every time she drives past that house she is thankful she didn't buy it.  I guess it's true what they say....things happen for a reason.
