The Power Of Nice
My parents were big on manners when we were growing up, please and thank you were a must in our household. Recently I have noticed that many kids seem to be missing those words from their vocabulary. In addition to the lack of manners I have also noticed the terrible way in which people speak to each other especially on the internet. Before I started my blog I looked at other blogs and I was appalled at what some people were posting on their blogs! My Mom always said "You'll get much further in life if you learn to always be nice" of course she followed that up with "Save that mean streak for when you really need it"
I would like to encourage all of my Blog viewers to take a look at the article on Web Manners . I actually purchased The Power Of Nice book for my son last Christmas, when he opened it he said "Mom why do I need to read a book about something you have been teaching me all my life?" I guess I did something right!

Thanks Mom For Teaching Me That It Pays To Be Nice!

Chris, well said - MY MOM - used to tell me:
if you don't have anything nice to say -don't say anything at all!
But I love YOUR MOM'S advice: Save it for when you need it - priceless!
