One of the great things about working and living in the community where I grew up is that I have a close relationship with most of my neighbors.  They are always calling me to ask a question or in this case to share something.  Today my friend, neighbor and client (yes all 3 ) called to tell me that she recently had her home appraised.  She lives less than 1 block away from a property that I sold in March at 1400 Birch, which sold for $765,000.  Her appraiser used that property as a comparative sale on his report and commented that the values in Northwest Glendale have come down approximately 8% giving 1400 Birch a current value of $707,350.  Needless to say listing Birch when we did was good timing on the seller’s part!  Thanks for sharing that with me Mary Ann, I will pass that on to my clients!
