As a California native I have to admit I take this beautiful state we live in for granted sometimes.  I decided to spend a couple of days down at the beach for a little R & R, and was it ever nice.  The traffic heading down on Thursday evening was not bad at all and coming home today was a breeze.  I saw a spectacular display of fireworks over the Marina last night!  This morning I enjoyed breakfast with a friend and then we decided to see a movie so we went to see Hancock we gave it a thumbs up, if you are a Will Smith fan this is a must see! 

I noticed only one open house today and that was the bank owned property on my street.  I would be a little skeptical if I were interested in that house because the property next door at the corner is about to go under some major construction!  Recently I had some clients that were interested in 424 Grinnell in Burbank however, the house next door was vacant and obviously under construction.  We called the city of Burbank and we were very disappointed to find out that the home had been under construction since 2006 with no end in sight!  My cleints decided to pass on that but I talked to the listing agent last week and she got it sold, way to go Joanne!
