Whoo Hoo, I got my short sale offer accepted!  The property was scheduled to go to sale this Monday and the bank waited until the very last minute to make a decision, how insane is that!  I talked to an agent earlier this week that refuses to show any properties that are short sales.  The problem is the short sales are a large percentage of the homes currently on the market, whats an agent to do!!!  In the meantime my listing at 1434 Lee continues to get showings and yet no offers Boo Hoo!  Today I was at a graduation party for my niece that just graduated from Notre Dame High School and her cousin who is new to the business asked me how I deal with buyers that insist on looking at property that is way out of their price range.  Well I said did you ever seen that movie Moon Struck, when Cher smacks Nicholas Cage across the face and says "Snap Out Of It!"  just kidding!  Seriously in this market people are making offers on homes well under list price and many of them are getting accepted so basically anything goes!
