The Talk Of The Town
Well the talk of the town this weekend was all about the Americana at Brand It seems like yesterday that the Eagle Rock Plaza opened and that was the only mall around until the Glendale Galleria (my place of employment during my High School years) and we thought that was the be all that ends all! I had a neighbor that used to stop over and visit me once in a while Mrs. Archovich was her name and she would always say "I remember when this was nothing but tree orchards" oh I would think to myself "you are old!". Now I am feeling old!
It's amazing how many changes I have seen take place over the years. Take my childhood home on Virginia Avenue for example. Look at what it looked like when I lived there and what it looks like now, it's actually kind of sad, I mean this used to be one of the nicer homes on the block and now it's the ugly duckling!
